Cassie The Curious Cat follows the tale of a friendly neighbourhood cat visiting the windows of each of her neighbours and observing a little bit of the family lives within each home.

The families within the book aim to represent the multitude and variety of families in modern life. They are diverse and inclusive. For example at number 2 lives a family with two mothers, and at number 3 lives a single mother with her daughter. All of these families portray happy, healthy and real family lives and dynamics.

Cassie thoroughly enjoys visiting each home, some give her treats, wave hello or simply acknowledge her presence and at the end of her busy day, she returns back to her own home at number 6, only to do it all again tomorrow.

Hi! I'm Abisha, the author of Cassie The Curious Cat. I want to say a huge thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being on this page and/or purchasing a copy of this book.

My love of writing began when I was a child; starting with poetry, moving into songwriting and now bringing me to writing and publishing my first children's book. I wrote Cassie The Curious Cat because I love children and the joy and imagination they bring to the world. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am also extremely passionate about the importance of inclusivity in children's literature, providing representation for families within the community.

Through Cassie, I hope to combine these things to create a safe space and joyful reading experience for children, while promoting open-mindedness, kindness, and self-acceptance.
